MDA DataQuick released a report today showing that San Diego County home price median increased 15.8 percent to $330,000. The March figure was up $45,000 from year-ago levels and up $8,000 from February. It seems that the largest percentage increases was in the ‘starter’ or lower end of the San Diego housing market.

The overall median was 17.9 percent above the cyclical low of $280,000, reached in January 2009, but was 36.2 percent below the peak $517,500 set in November 2005.

Overall, more than 32-hundred homes sold  in San Diego in March…30-percent more than in February…the biggest February-to-March jump since 2006.
