There is a move by the Left to ‘encourage’ people to abandon the ‘burbs and move back to the cities. High tolls on roads going into and out of the city, high gasoline taxes, no public parking and more taxes put on parking lots, etc. to make commuting cost prohibitive. They look at it as a salvation for the broke cities, environmentally friendlier, will encourage the construction of more mass transit facilities, and eventually will end the need for a car (or so they think). Pending Home Sales Rise For Second Straight Month

were up in June for a second straight month in a row according to a report released today by the national Association of Realtors. A pending home sale is one where a contract to purchase has been signed but the sale has not closed yet. Typically, it could take 4 to 6 weeks from the time the contract is signed before the sale would actually closes. Read more »
