San Diego home prices drop in August

NBC 7/39 in San Diego, reported yesterday that San Diego home prices were down more than 2% when compared to August 2005. Plus, they reported that August ’06 San Diego real estate sales were the slowest since 1997. Keep in mind, as I have said before, these drops are occuring at during the strongest seasonal real estate market time. San Diego homeowners should see these drops increase as the Fall & Winter sales are reported.     Great post. You would think this would be the top story in the Union & the other local TV stations. I guess they value the real estate advertising bucks to much!

    It seems speculators were first into the dot com boom, when that went bust they moved into real estate and now it seems like they’re moving into commodities.
