13% of San Diego February Sales Were Foreclosures!

by Bob Schwartz

San Diego CA real estate salesA DataQuick analyst said the number of San Diego default notices rose to 1,268 last month, up from 499 in February 2006, while foreclosure sales skyrocketed from 40 to 383 over the same period, landing just shy of the all-time record set in October 1996 of 389.

Very scray is the fact that for both October 1996 and last month, foreclosures represented 13 percent of total sales.[tags]foreclosures.San Diego real estate, real estate bubble, housing bubble, home foreclosures,San Diego CA real estate,San Diego California real estate[/tags] downtown San Diego real estate

With these foreclosure numbers, people will soon start to pay attention! After 100% increase in five years, what is so bad about a drop in home values that in my opinion could be 40+% before it’s over? San Diego laser eye surgery

Boy I’m glad I did not buy San Diego real estate in the last three years. Many who did, may soon find they haveno or negitave equity. San Diego real estate foreclosures are sure to go MUCH high than what we are now seeing! Los Angeles bail bonds

There was so much speculation in the San Diego real estate market, what we’re seeing now seemed inevitable.
