San Diego home valuesLast month, San Diego County's median price fell 5.9% to $480,000 as sales dropped 5.7%, DataQuick said. San Diego's home prices have been declining for almost a year. San Diego was the first Southern California region to see a boom in prices seven years ago and was the first to start trailing off. 

The real scary part of this is all the buyer incentives being offered by both new construction, and now, most individual home sellers is NOT taken into account in these published housing value numbers.
