San Diego Anti-Landlord Ordinance

by Bob Schwartz

San Diego Anti-Landlord Ordinance

Critics of the tenant protections and regulations view them as overly burdensome for landlords, potentially hindering their ability to manage their properties or make a profit. Some argue that these regulations discourage investment in rental properties, reduce the supply of affordable housing, and ultimately lead to higher rents.

Until you clean up the vagrants oops I mean unhoused tent people, you will only have a bust on those projects. Look at all of the buildings in Downtown San Diego, because of the thousands of “Unhoused” people, the people living in their apartments are being assaulted by the homeless vagrants and finding them “unhoused” people in front of your business leaving dirt and poo there should be the issue to solve before ever building more buildings that aren’t affordable.

San Diego is known for having a relatively high cost of living compared to many other cities in the United States. Several factors contribute to the high cost of living in San Diego:

  1. Housing: Housing is a significant driver of the high cost of living in San Diego. The city has a limited supply of available housing, coupled with high demand, which leads to increased prices. The desirable coastal location, pleasant weather, and strong job market further contribute to the high demand for housing.
  2. Real Estate Prices: The cost of purchasing or renting a home in San Diego is generally higher than the national average. The competitive housing market and limited inventory result in higher prices for both buyers and renters.
  3. Cost of Utilities: The cost of utilities, including electricity, water, and gas, tends to be higher in San Diego compared to other regions. This can further contribute to the overall cost of living.
  4. Transportation: San Diego’s transportation costs can be relatively high, particularly for those who rely on private vehicles. The city has limited public transportation options, and the cost of gasoline and vehicle maintenance can be expensive.
  5. Taxes: California, in general, has higher state income tax rates compared to many other states. This can affect the overall cost of living for residents of San Diego.

Just like most major businesses, the easiest way, and the fastest way to expand your business and influence in your particular market is through strategic acquisition. Just look at Google, they are the number one search engine in the world! Google bought Youtube in November 2006 for US$1.65  billion! YouTube now operates as one of Google’s subsidiaries.

www.brokerforyou.com is for sale and is offered with a very popular San Diego residential real estate channel with 1.16K subscribers and 114 videos!!

What’s the approximately monthly cost to host a website?  With shared hosting, you’re hosting fee can break down to about 10 to $15 per month. To keep your url registered (that’s your site address), this is usually paid on a five to 10-year basis, which averages out to about just a dollar per month!  Naturally, if you add direct hook-up to a MLS database, that provides lead capturing, this costs can vary greatly from provider-to-provider.
