San Diego Aerial Tram
The idea of an aerial tramway from downtown San Diego to Balboa Park has been tossed around for some time. The proponents of this idea believe it will be an immense tourist attraction of draw for the visitors to Balboa Park and the San Diego zoo.
It’s been estimated that such a tram from downtown San Diego to Balboa Park would cost approximately $75 million!
This proposed San Diego tram be approximately 2 miles long and run along sixth Avenue. It’s been estimated that three the 4000 riders a day would use the tram which could result in as much as 4.9 million in city revenue.
